This guard offers critical protection to the rear hub/cardan shaft.

Designed by Isotta of Italy from scratch specifically for the V85, this part will do a potentially important job, and look perfectly integrated with the bike.

Black steel metal powdercoated guard.

Guard attaches via two bolts, so while the design possibly allows for rear differential oil drain and fill with the guard attached, we'd probably just remove it during services to make for an overall less messy, and easier job.
