This German designed turn signal is truly one of the most unique turn signals we've seen in quite a while. Rather than arranging LEDs on a board and covering with a lens, Moto Gadget chose to put their bright LED's at the base of the turn signal, projecting their light into a specially shaped prism. The result is a spectacularly bright, and totally unique looking turn signal.
Signals are bi-directional, and can be mounted on the LH or RH side.
Please note that these turn signals run the wiring through the bolt hole. Stock Aprilia, Norton, and Moto Guzzi turn signals have a L shaped foot with one hole each for the wiring and mounting bolt. Rizoma offers the FR221B Adapter Kit** for the most complete looking installation.
Turn signals feature an internal 'load box' resistor. Moto Gadget tells us this resistor is sufficient to maintain a stock blink rate interval on "most" bikes. A complete listing of which bikes may require additional in-line resistors is not yet available.
For reasons we do not understand, Moto Gadget chose to use extremely small gauge wire for these turn signals. For the novice, working with these wires could be prohibitively challenging. If you are not experienced with wiring work, professional installation is advisable.
