Sato Racing Racing Tie Down Hooks For Transport
Complete fitment list at bottom of this page.
Includes a LH and RH pair of aluminum tie down hooks that fasten in place of your stock passenger pegs
These anodized billet aluminum Racing Hooks provide sturdy anchor points to help keep your Aprilia securely tied down. Very handy for when you need to transport it.
*Cannot be used on '19-'20 RSV4 1100 Factory with stock high mount exhaust, Unless an Akrapovic or R&G Racing Exhaust Hangar Bracket have been installed.
**Please note: Net panels can not be fitted if these hooks have been installed.
***Tuono V4 and RSV4 Owners Please note: Sato has updated the design of these hooks so they can now be used with the wildly popular Akrapovic Exhaust Hanger Bracket They can not be used with the stock passenger peg bracket.
◊Tuareg Owners Please note: While this product has correct spacing to be used in place of your passenger footpegs, the included hardware is not correct. Additionally, installing these hooks would prevent installation of the side cases made by SW Motech, Aprilia Accessories, and Hepco & Becker because those side case setups require the passenger pegs to remain installed. So if you have a Tuareg and install these hooks, you will not be able to install side cases.
ⱡPlease note: Sato Racing will not accept a warranty return on a GOLD part that the buyer decides to return solely because they are unsatisfied with the shade of gold. Color fading is not covered by the Sato Racing warranty.
‡Important Note: The bolts that secure the rearsets and passenger peg brackets to the frame are coated with a tremendous amount of medium strength threadlock compound by Aprilia. When removing rearset or passenger peg brackets take extreme care and exercise maximum patience when removing these bolts or this can happen (photo link). The best way to avoid stripped or broken rearset bolts is to loosen the bolt by hand until you feel binding and then retighten. Loosen again until binding (bolt will unthread a little futher every time) then retighten. Repeat this process (you will have to take breaks to let the bolt cool) until the bolt comes out.
