Sato Racing Lowering Rearsets

For '11-'13 Tuono V4 (all variants)  Can also be fitted to '11-'12 RSV4 (all variants)

Standard Shift Pattern (1 down, 5 up)

These expertly crafted rearsets allow you to position the footpeg in one of five positions with a maximum reduction in in peg height of 15mm. To ease in leg bend and associated cramping, the peg can also be moved forward 30 or 42.5 mm.

These made in Japan rearsets are very well designed and beautifully anodized with no signs of substandard or inaccurate machining.

Both the Shift and Brake Pedals ride on ball bearing pivots for even more fatigue reduction and to ensure smooth and positive braking and shifting action. Toe pieces are made from high density Delrin-type plastic and are distance-to-footrest adjustable.

Kit includes small tube of medium strength threadlock compound and a replacement rear brake switch.

Well thought out and elegant to look at, these rearsets may be just what you need to make your leg position comfortable on your Tuono V4.

***Not for ABS models

Need Sato Spare parts? See this page: Sato Racing Spare Parts and then send us an email with the part numbers you require and we'll get you a price and availability quote.

*Please note: Rear Brake Pedal Pushrod Adjustment should be reset anytime rearsets are fitted. This .pdf excerpt from the Aprilia Service Manual explains the process (Mille shown, all models use same values).

Important Note: The bolts that secure the rearsets and passenger peg brackets to the frame are coated with a tremendous amount of medium strength threadlock compound by Aprilia. When removing rearset or passenger peg brackets take extreme care and exercise maximum patience when removing these bolts or this can happen (photo link). The best way to avoid stripped or broken rearset bolts is to loosen the bolt by hand until you feel binding and then retighten. Loosen again until binding (bolt will unthread a little futher every time) then retighten. Repeat this process (you will have to take breaks to let the bolt cool) until the bolt comes out.
