Ram Mounts Mirror Stem Smart Phone Holder

Ram Mounts is a leading name in smartphone holders for motorcycles and scooters. This kit is designed to securely clamp to the stem of your mirror. While this is an adequate solution, placing the phone in a convenient spot with good visibility, this method is limited because there is no anti-rotataion feature to prevent the mount and phone from eventually drooping on the mirror stem, no matter how tight the clamps are. That being said, this is one of our most popular phone mounts, so it can't be all bad.

Cradle Dimensions:

  • Minimum Width = 1.875" (Minimum Height = 4.25")
  • Maximum Width = 3.25" (Minimum Height = 2.25")
  • Depth = 0.875"
Each kit comes with 4 sizes of clamp shims to ensure a tight and secure fit. Below are the known fitments for our most popular models:

  • GTS 250 (uses the #55 shims; the thinnest shims)

*With the proliferation of cell phones that are sized more like tablets (like the iPhone 12 and later or any phone in a heavy duty case like Otterbox), this mount can struggle to keep the phone secure. For larger cell phones you'll need to look at products like SP Connect or QuadLock.

**Iphone and Android Users Please note: On modern phones with image stabilization Apple has begun to warn customers against mounting their phones on motorcycle handlebars due to potential damage to the image stabilization motors found on these devices. This article on the Apple website
