About 1/2 pound lighter than a conventional steel sprocket with no loss of durability and far better looks.

This steel sprocket is the preimmient sprocket we offer. It is the best designed lightest steel sprocket you are likely to find outside of prototype racing. That being said, Superlight updates this design (with irritating frequency) to improve cosmetic or mechancial performance. This sprocket has been alternativley known as the RS7 (Circa 2016), RS8 (roughly 2017-2018), RS9 and as of 2022 the RSX, or RS10. All of this is a long way of saying that the product you receive may not 100% match the image, but it will be the most up to date production design offered by Superlight.

Please note: this rear sprocket is only to be used in conjunction with a 520 front sprocket and a 520 chain.

15/43 is by far the most popular sprocket ratio chosen. It seems to be the best balance between improved acceleration without sacrificing top speed.
