Sprint filters refers to this as the P08 F1-85 media filter.

This is the most aggressive, 'barely there' air filter we've ever seen. Made with single layer polyester filtration media (almost all other manufacturers use 4 layer cotton), the super thin filtering layer was found by Sprint to be 17% more efficient at trapping particles down to 100 microns in size.

The polyester media was also found to be more effective in trapping moisture.

Developed in the lab and verified on the track the P08F1-85 is the air filter of choice for many world champoionship teams. It offers the highest existing permeability and ensures engine protection by the 85 micron filtration media. Air flow performance is guaranteed by over 15,000 l/m2 per second. All fo these features make the P08F1-85 an excellent choice for racing.
