This is a race only part. It is only compatible with racebodywork that removes or relocates the stock coolant expansion tank.

Despite JetPrime's full bodied endorsment (in.pdf format) that this damper mount is direct fit with the 63mm travel SD000 Ohlins Steering Damper (sold separately) we can confirm, after two attempts to test fit, that THIS PART ABSOLUTLEY DOES NOT WORK WITH STOCK FAIRINGS.

JetPrime also notes that this part can be used to mount the same Ohlins damper on the Tuareg but again, there is severe fairing interference.

Lastly, this kit reduces steering travel some 14 degrees via the included larger diameter steering stops. On a track only RS660 this is not a factor, but on a street ridden bike, or offroad enduro like the Tuareg, this makes tight maneauvers nearly impossible.
