This billet aluminum part eliminates your stock (and surprisingly expensive!) plastic sprocket cover and incorporates a brace with brass plain bearing that braces the shift shaft. The shift shaft bracing is particularly valuable to track ridden bikes becuase it could prevent the headache of having tor try to replace the shift shaft in the event of a left side fall.

*Please note: Due to shipping constraints there will be superficial scrapes on the lower portion of the part. (Given the harsh environment this part lives in, you'll probably have worse markings than this on it after a couple months of riding.)
