This is the exact same battery as sold by Aprilia as part number 2D000579, but this battery is ordered directly from the manufacturer so it offered at a MUCH lower price.

*Please note: Thanks to the included brass terminal lugs, this battery can be installed on all the bikes listed at the bottom of this page. However, this versatility has sewn some confusion. The notes below should aid installation:

For Tuareg: The Tuareg only uses the Brass Lug on the negative battery terminal. You will have to unscrew and remove the brass lug on the positive terminal before installing this battery. Your battery will look like this photo when it is ready to install. In this photo, with the plastic cover in place, you can see how the battery looks when completely installed. Here is another photo showing how the terminals look when the plastic cover is removed.

For RSV4 and Tuono V4: This battery re-uses the TWO stock brass battery spacers that came with your bike (If you do not have those spacers, you can purchase them at this link: Brass Battery Spacer) To install this battery you will need to unscrew the brass lugs that come pre installed on the battery. When you install this battery on your bike it will look like this photo. Once installed, your battery will look like this photo. Again, you re-use your stock Brass Battery Spacer. That spacer can just barely be seen in this photo (You use one spacer on the positive terminal and one spacer on the negative terminal).

For RS660 and Tuono 660: On this model both brass lugs will remain installed. Your battery will look like this photo when it is ready to install. Here is a photo showing what the battery looks like when it is correctly installed.

**Please note: Lithium Batteries have some operating and particularly charging and successive restart peculiarities that are worth making yourself familiar with if you will be replacing your battery or making an "upgrade" to a lithium battery. This official technical bulletin from Aprilia is mandatory reading if you are purchasing a lithium battery to prevent potential battery destruction.
