AF1 Racing, RACE ecu for '21 Tuono V4 1100 (all variants) - AF1-MM11MP-RACE-TV4
*This ECU is plug-and-Play. Dealer installation is not mandatory, but is recommended so that the dealer can perform the flywheel sync procedure (this restores functionality of the "+/-" buttons when using cruise control). Also the dealer can perform a throttle body sync, but this is less critical, since the Tuono V4 1100 self learns throttle position.
This is the fully featured/ full power RACE ECU for Tuono V4. All rider aid functions are retained, all dashboard functionality is retained, and the Pit Lane Speed Limiter is enabled. Most importantly, this is the safe and correct ecu for running an aftermarket exhaust with no catalytic converter or removing any servo's or EGR system components. ABS can be turned off for the rear wheel only. Front wheel ABS is always active.
This ECU allows removal of tailight for race purposes. To remove the headlight, you will have to also purchase the headlight emulator
This ECU allows reomval of the Secondary Air Servo, The O2 Sensors, and the evap purge valve solenoid without error lights on the dashboard.
Peak power gains with this ecu are nominal; our test bikes showed between 1 and 4 horsepower peak, when used with an aftermarket exhaust. Biggest gains are in mid range rpms where power improvements were consistently 4-6 hp.
*If you have a dealer install this ECU, do not let them update the ECU/Engine map. Only updates to Dashboard and ABS module are recommended with this RACE ECU. If your dealer is not sure what this means, do not have them update anything. This warning is critical. If your dealer updates your ECU /Engine map, your bike will revert to stock mapping; there is no reverting from this: AF1 Racing does not accept returns for ECUs that have been accidentally updated. No exceptions.
Please note: This ECU disables the front fairing mounted front turn signals. Instead, when the turn signal button is pressed, the RH or LH LED eyebrows in the stock headlight illuminate, depending on which way you push the turn signal switch (RH activates RH brow LED, LH activates LH brow LED).
