This is a comprehensive service kit for your 660 powered Aprilia.

Kit does not include tools.*

Kit does not include the air filter.*

Kit does not include valve shims.*

This kit is everything you need per the factory service manual at your 12,000 mile service.

Complete list of contents is below:

  • Oil Filter
  • Oil Drain Plug Crush Washer**
  • 3 Quarts (2.8 Liters) of the Aprilia Recommended 10W50 Castrol motor oil
  • Valve Cover Gasket (quantity 1)
  • Spark Plug Gasket (quantity 2)
  • Valve Cover Bolt Gasket (quantity 4)
  • NGK Spark Plug (quantity 2)
  • Motorex 3.0 Pink Coolant (2 liters)

A 12k or 24k service is a perfect time to look at installing a Driven Block-Off Plate

*The following is a list of items not included in this kit which may or may not be useful depending on owner preference, experience, or access to tools:

  1. Stock replacement Air Filter 2B006532 (Not necesary if you have an aftermarket washable filter)
  2. Brembo Dot 4 Brake Fluid BR04816450 (Aprilia advises visual inspection only at 12k, but we recommend complete system flush; especailly for track ridden 660s)
  3. Valve shims are sold separately in the Engine Stock Replacement Parts Category. Some engines need no adjustment at all. For those that need shims, there is no way for us to prepackage exactly the shims that will be required, as the required thickness can vary.
  4. Intake Cam Disarming Lever Tool 021044Y (Currently only available in the complete engine tool kit) (This tool is a game changer for valve service if valve shimming is required)
  5. Camshaft Timing Pin 021043Y (2 required) (Not critical. An appropriately sized dowel of high tensile steel will do the same job; a forum search turns up this information)

**Please note: We have learned that some 2022 model year production RS660, Tuono 660, and Tuareg 660 were fitted with the incorrect oil drain plug during manufacture. The incorrect drain plug will not seal unless three of the 831393 drain plug washers are fitted. AF1 Racing's STRONG recommendation is to replace the incorrect drain plug with the Votex DP007 drain plug, or purchase a known good 1A012848 drain plug. (All of AF1 Racing's Drain Plugs are known and confirmed to be correct).
