*An interesting piece of trivia regarding '17-'21 base model V4's is that the actual bolt installed at the factory in Noale is an M6x35, but the spare parts catalog, and the threaded bore on the fork hub are designed for an M6x40 bolt. We think this is to allow for an overlength bolt to be installed in the event that the threads utilized by the 35mm bolt become stripped (which is very common because many owners torque their pinch bolts to at least 3x the factory recommended setting of 7 ft lbs).
