OEM Moto Guzzi Billet Gas Cap, Black -2B0046395

Stock replacement for V7 III Carbon Shine and V7 III Carbon Dark
Identical to accessory part number 606800M, but often priced differently due to it being offered by different departments within Piaggio (yes, we know that doesn't make sense)
For:
  • V7 e5 850cc (all variants)
  • V7 III Stone
  • V7 III Special
  • V7 III Racer
  • V7 III Rough
  • V7 III Milano
  • V7 III Anniversario

This billet aluminum gas cap replaces the stock cast gas cap.

This part is sold bare: you will have to transfer over your old cap's internals before using this part. See the pictures below.

Take off stock gas cap, turn upside down and use circlip pliers to remove the snap ring:

With snap ring removed, remove and lay out stock gas cap components (take note of the spring washer on the bottom of the lock tumbler assembly)

Place the lock tumbler assembly on the billet gas cap, taking care to align the pins:

Final Step: Put the plastic threaded body over the tumbler and refit the snap ring. Gas cap is now ready to use (not pictured).
