This product requires you to be honest with yourself. And here's why... The RS660/Tuono 660 Graves Gas Cap that this part was designed for only has to be hand-tight to keep a good, secure seal, BUT, there are three types of motorcyclists:

Those who under-tighten everything or forget to re-tighten fasteners after a service job.
