An evolution of the already wildly popular Brembo RCS-19 the Corsa Corta 19RCS now allows "bite-point" adjustment thanks to a new patent pending Brembo technology.
The "bite-point" selector operates a cam mechanism to let the user choose between three different responsiveness settings.
In addition to the "bite-point" adjustment the Corsa Corta 19 RCS still retains the Ratio Click System from the earlier RCS-19. This feature lets the rider select a fulcrum-to-piston distance 18 or 20mm by simply turning the adjuster screw on the front face of the lever.
This system uses a cam that shows red when in the 18mm position and black when in the 20mm position to allow you to tailor the distribution of the braking force without altering the performance of the system in terms of absolute power.
For an aesthetically matching clutch lever be sure to check out the Brembo RCS Clutch Lever Kit.
Fits 7/8" Handlebars, includes brake switch. (Brake switch is not used [and not required◊ ]on '17 and later V4's) (*Cutting and soldering two wires to install the switch will be required on some applications.)
The following models can re-use their stock front brake lines: RS660, Tuono 660, RSVR, RSV4, '17 and later Tuono V4
**Please note: Installation of this brake pump on '11 and later Tuono V4 models will require a new way to mount the brake reservoir. Brembo makes this Brake Reservoir Mounting Kit that is popular.
*Please note: Tightening of the master cylinder clamp is somewhat counter-intuitive. We strongly recommend you have a look at this post before replacing your master cylinder clamp.
***Please note: Bleeding of ABS equipped brake systems can be more difficult due to increased system fluid capacity and switches/valving in the ABS module/pump. Follow the factory service manual instructions carefully during installation, or have this part professionally installed.
◊2017 and later V4 take their front brake swictch signal from the ABS block; no conventional switch is used
