Given that all the bikes this filter fits are now at least 10 years old, we strongly recommend to also purchase the Upper Hose AP8144226 and the lower hose with clamps when replacing this filter.

*Early Mille and Falco Owners Please note: This filter replaces the now discontinued AP8102627 Metal body fuel filter. If your bike was originally fitted with the metal filter, you'll have to also order the AP8144226 Upper Filter Hose and AF1-RCL-KIT Lower Filter Hose with Clamps in to correctly install this filter.

**Please note, this filter has been known to go on backorder for up to a year. This filter is manufactured by Fiamm with their part number FT5452. An unofficial substitute for this filter is offered by AF1 Racing as part number GU01106090. The Mahle filter made from aluminum and is 11mm shorter in body length than AP8102971. Body diameter is the same for both filters (excluding the casting ridge) at 50mm. Inlet and outlet barb useable lenghts are the same at 18mm. Barb diameters are the same at 8mm.
