AF1 Racing Euro Turn Signals Kit for Vespa 946

This kit allows you to remove the stock, ugly, egg shaped turn signals that came on your USA market Vespa 946 and restores the beautiful lines of the European model.

Kit includes all four Full LED turn signals and the needed revised flasher relay.

This kit is comprised of Genuine Vespa of Europe parts (with the exception of the relay that is needed for the USA wiring harness).

For USA model Vespa 946 only.

***Please note: Installation of this kit requires removing both rear engine covers (LH and RH), the complete kneeboard, and the fill panels behind the footrests (LH and RH) .

**Please also note: This kit requires you to cut and solder the ends off of your stock USA turnsignals so that their connectors can be re-used with the Euro signals included in this kit. This kit also requires you to add crimp-on connectors for the replacement flasher relay.

*Professional installation is required, but if you are daring and simply can not help yourself, the complete installation process was documented at the link below: Euro Turn Signal Installation Vespa 946

In the photo below you can see the difference in wiring from the USA front Turn signal on the right in the photo (only two wires) versus the Euro Signal (3 wires). To install the Euro 3 signal you will reuse the stock yellow and black wire from the USA signal (these are the running lights). The white wire on the Euro signal is the blinker light wire. The white wire is connected to the positive wire from the egg shaped USA front turn signal. The ground wire from the egg shaped USA turn signal is not re-used.

In the photo below you can see the extent that you must dismantle the front faring area in order to access the front turn signals.

In the photo below you can see that the RH engine cover fairing has been removed to gain access to the RH rear turn signal. (same must be done on LH side)

In the photo below you can see the Euro turn signal installed. (note that both the running light and turn signal are illuminated in this photo; this is only possible if the Euro turn signals have been fitted)

Photo below shows the Euro Rear turn signal fitted and illuminated.

The photo below shows the crimped wire ends required to allow fitting of the aftermarket relay (This wiring is located under the riders RH foot area of the footboard).
