Quick Shift Kit* For '09-'10 RSV4-R, RSV4 Factory

This kit* is for GP Shift pattern. The kit uses all OEM Aprilia parts, plus the Woodcraft GP Shft Pedal for Stock Rearsets and allows you to fit the quick shifter from the RSV4 APRC model to your '09-'10 RSV4.

This kit includes all parts seen in the photo above as well as the pin connector discussed below. (Kit includes two pin connectors; only one is needed, but we include two, because a spare may be needed).

Installation of this kit is comprised of 4 major steps:

  • The quick shifter uses the OEM sensor. It has 2 wires; the circuit is in the normally open position.
  • One of the wires coming from the OEM sensor (we prefer the black wire, as seen in the photo below) must be sent to ground**. The sidestand switch ground is close and is relatively easy to access.
  • The other wire (we prefer the blue wire, also seen in the photo below) has to be routed to pin # 47** in the main ECU wiring connector (see photo below).
  • The ECU software on your stock ECU must be updated by an Authorized Aprilia dealer to enable the quick shifter feature.

Due to the complexity of installation, and the delicate nature of installing pin # 47 into the ECU wiring harness, professional installation of this kit is required.

*Please note: This "kit" is not 100% complete, you will have to supply your own length of wire to make the blue wire reach the pin # 47 on the ECU.

**Please note: As mentioned in the photo showing the blue and black wires, The OEM quick shifter wiring connector must be cut off and the wiring must be lengthened in order to make the blue wire reach all the way to the ECU.
