While this Italian supplied part has an impressive material thickness of 2.5mm, it should be considered more decorative than as crash protection.
Constructed from multi-layer Carbon Fiber with a carbon kevlar inner section, this cover offers a convincing molded fit to the stock clutch cover. Despite the snug compression fit, AF1 Racing supplies a 90mm strip of bi-adhesive foam to be used for additional securing of the cover.
The photo below shows red dots at the suggested locations to place the bi-adhesive foam.
