This is a hardened steel sprocket.
Note: when installing this sprocket on the '09-'13 RSV4, '11-'13 Tuono V4, '04-'09 RSVR, RSVR Factory, '07-'13 Shiver, '08-'13 Mana, Mana GT, '09-'13 Dorsoduro 750/1200, and '06-'10 Tuono the engraving is installed facing outwards. In other words, the cut away side faces outwards.
To use this sprocket on a '98-'03 RSV Mille, '00-'03 Falco, or 02-05 Tuono, install the engraving so it faces inwards. In other words, have the smooth flat side facing outwards
