This spring kit is designed as an alternative to a complete clutch kit for those who have a limited budget. This kit is springs only without plates.

These springs are over 100% stiffer than the stock springs found in the AM6 motor and will make your clutch lever feel "right". With their greater clamping force, they allow even the stock Minarelli clutch pack to hold about twice the stock horsepower. If you are building a race motor with more than 14bhp, you will still need the complete kit, since it has about 20% more surface area for the friction and drive plates.

We highly recommend that you purchase a clutch cover gasket at the same time. Usually they are not required, but about 10% of the time the stock paper clutch cover gasket will tear when the side cover is removed. If you do not have a spare gasket on hand, you will be off the road for a week until the new one arrives.
