Inertia (acceleration) dynes are unable to hold a steady cruise or simulate driving down the highway.  Bikes tuned on inertia style dynes tend to always run rich, robbing you of extra horsepower and wasting gas at the same time.  Using an eddy-current dynamometer is also the only way to accurately tune flat-slide carburetors.
